Temperature heat Mysterious Detected in Pacific Ocean

Natural Tragedy

Natural Tragedy. Anomalies of nature in the form of large lumps of warm water that mysteriously appeared in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean. Clots that continues to expand and is reported to have serious effects on marine life ranging from Mexico to Alaska.

The strangeness of it even could be expected to alter weather throughout the continent. Blobs, which was termed a 'blob' by meteorologists University of Washington Nicholas Bond at the end of 2013, consists of a body of water that has a temperature of 5 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures were warmer than the temperature of the sea in general.

Although it does not look too conspicuous difference, warm blob, which initially form small clumps off the coast of Alaska, has developed into a wad of 500 miles.

Clumps of warm water that is the largest and has the longest temperature anomaly ever recorded in history.

"The magnitude of this anomaly which makes the blob was incredible," said Art Miller, oceanographer at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography in La Jolla, California. Miller was one of 100 who joined Scripps researchers to investigate the strange phenomena and their impact.

Scientists do not know for sure what the cause of the blob. But they estimate it relates to drought in California until the hunger that afflicts a large number of children ever stranded sea lions on the west coast of America.

Climate change also causes living creatures from tropical and subtropical zones migrating to the north, to a place where they are not normally found.

Scientists also suspect the other living creatures that usually live far from the sea has ventured closer to the coast, according to the Seattle Times article.

Bond wrote an article in the April issue that blob is also associated with unusual weather pattern, which develops over most of the Earth's northern region, which stretches from the Pacific to North America, in the fall of 2013 and early 2014.

Unusual pattern that has reduced the number and intensity of storms and cause a reduction in rainfall in the western United States.
